History Doesn't Always Repeat Itself

I don't think it is very possible. Even though, as people say, history repeats itself, I think that this is a situation that can be prevented again. If there were to be another one, it would be looked at as some sort of racism or intolerance type situation and it would cause a lot more problems since it has a lot to do with religion and everyone is entitled to their own views. Also considering the fact that the girls "afflicted" could have been faking, and there were previous conflicts that resulted in the witchcraft hysteria. Also, we have greater knowledge on the causes of abnormalities and we know that everyone is different. I think that overall we know more so that can help us explain a lot of things that were complete mysteries in the past.

I agree because we things like twlight harry potter and true blood. Everybody wants to be a witch or wants to have something to do with witch craft

I dont think it could happen either because people aren't afraid as a whole community of something, such as witches. People are smarter now.

I disagree sydney not everybody like Harry Potter and all that other stuff and evrybody doesnt want to be a witch or do witch craft just because you like a movie that has to do with witch craft doesnt mean you have to want to do it.

I dont mean everyone as in the whole world. But a lot of people that watch the movies and read the books get real into the witchcraft part of it.

I agree because our country is not foolish enough to let witchcraft affect our society again. We are much more inteligent and more experienced with this type of situation then we were back then. Also the whole point of History class is to inform the students of our future work world about past events which affected our society. The reason for this is so that history doesn't repeat itself.
