Stereotypes:Dave Chappelle different food

 This clip is about Dave Chappelle doing his stand up comedy. He talks about how certain groups of people only eat certain types of food. This shows that stereotypes still exist everywhere and how they are constantly changing. He says an example of how black people only eat chicken and watermelon, while white people only eat vegetables and drink grape juice. Dave Chappelle uses these sterotypes to his advantage. He makes fun of them and over exaggerates them, which makes them funny.

Token Black

tokenism : is a policy or practice of limited inclusion or artistic  and/or political reprisentaion  of members of a traditionally marginalized group, usually creating a false appearance of inclusive practices rather than discrimination,intentional or not. A token character is a character in a work of fiction who only exists to achieve the minimum compliance with assumed normality for the environment described in the story. there are fictional show that vary from this or adds to it. south park critizes this by having one black character by the name of token black that has anti stereotypical characteristics. This character strays away from typical token character showing that they know that they were using tokenism and were making fun of it

Racist Jokes in America have become a common thing. Such as when a black person gets introuble they simply say to be funny, "Is it cuz I'm black?". It has become a very common thing.
