All Black People Like Chicken.

 

    In this video clip comidian dave chappelle talks about the stereotype that all black people like chicken. Though he dose exaggerate, he tells us about how people in our modern day all believe this stereotype is true.  This is a perfect example of raceism in America. It takes place in every state.  Dave is basically saying if your are black and raised in a African American family you will like chicken. This is by no means true. America's two most popular meats are beef and chicken. African Americans dont make up the majority of America's population. This tells us that Chicken is popular among all races. Many people in America are black but dont care for chicken. Just becauce you are a certain race dose not mean you only like to eat the food that the majority of your race enjoys. That Goes for all races.

Fastfood Question

Story #2
Why are the young people in the film – particularly Amber -- dissatisfied with their lives? 

Do you feel the same dissatisfaction?  Why or why not?

 

The young people are dissatisfied with their lives because they have not stopped the fastfood restraunts from butchering cows and ruining the enviroment. They believe that the animals derserve to run free like they were before the fastfood places took them. They try to help their cause and cut down the fence of the keeping place of the cows. The fastfood owners are smarter than that because they had a way for the animals not to escape when freed. They are dissatisfied when they do not succeed.

 

I believe that the animals deserve to be treated fairly. I do not think that the animals should be caged up and killed when they are meaty enough to be turned into food for the fast food restraunts. The animals deserve to live and go about their life as much as us humans do. Although, I would not go as far to break the law to get my point across but I do believe that the they do need be alearted of how people thing one way or another.

Why does Don Anderson, the marketing director of Mickey’s, end up doing what he does in the end?  What leads him to that “decision,” after all that he has seen? 

Would you have done differently?

Don Anderson ends up leaving Cody, Colorado and discontinues his verification of whether or not it's true that there is a considerable amount of fecal matter in the meat. He does this because he knows that continuing his investigation could put his job in danger and maybe even him. He realizes that the corporate heads of the meat packing industries are ruthless, powerful elitists thats don't care about people, what they do, however, is care about money, and that's it. 

I think I would have done the same thing as Don. It's not easy to get to where he got in society, both socially and economically. He has a stable job, a stable and consistent flow of money from it, and most likely his family life is too. By continuing his investigation, this could all be greatly put at risk. To make up for not continuing the investigation, I would tell my closest family members and friends the real truth, and would tell them that if they must tell others, they must make sure the others don't mention who they got the information from. By doing this, nothing would get back to me, and at the same time I'd be making a difference. Plus, no matter how big or slight the difference is, it's still bringing about a change for the better.
