The other day when we took our insta-quiz through watching video clips- I found it much more easier to understand the different literary devices. Did anyone else feel this way? Also, I like how we're getting the oppurtunity to present our songs and listen to them at the beginning of each class. The villanelle assignment, although we haven't gone much into yet- seems sort of complicated- again, who has ideas for theirs already?
I actucally found it harder... I thought I understood the concepts until I had to sit down and pick out examples for each one. Like, I could give you a definition for each literary device but have to decide which Bart Simpson was using was a little more difficult for me :(

I found that I could only really identify one kind of irony in the Simpsons when, like Liz, I could've defined each one. Still, I was ok because they used a lot of situational irony.
