I used to be a classic bookworm when I was younger. I would devour books like oreos. I have slowed down with mostly due to lack of time, but I have still read of lot of enjoyable novels in my life. In addition, I know I will read many more novels that could be potentially life changing. Hence, I cannot choose a single book that has changed my life thus far. But since I am forced to choose for the sake of this blogging assignment, there is only book I can pick-- the dictionary.
I actually respect that and find your choice very clever. I don't know what I would have done growing up without a dictionary. Especially when you want to learn different languages.

The dictionary is obsolete. Nobody flips through pages anymore. Now it is simply an online database.

I think your choice is a very clever one. Even something so commonplace and seemingly dull in nature (just lists of words) can be absolutely fantastic. Sometimes, I find it interesting to flip to a random page in the dictionary and pick a random word I've never heard before.
Of course, I think I have to credit two past teachers, Mr. Gates and Ms. Kinnan, for piquing my interest in vocabulary and dictionaries.
