Old School

The book that changed my life was the first book in the series "The Babysitters Club."  Now, these books are not popular for their quality writing and complicated plot lines, but they were the books that helped me develop a passion for reading at a young age.  I would stay up for hours on end happily following the adventures of Kristy, Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacy, among many recurring characters.  If it hadn't been for those books, I would not have learned to love books to nearly the extent that I did, and they changed my life.  They made me realize the value of reading and how much fun it could be.  So while they may not be the highest quality or profound books that I have read over the years, they made a lasting difference.
